‘Twas the Night Before Christmas

‘Twas the night before Christmas

And all through the hospital

There was but one teenage girl

Who was feeling quite methodical

Everyone was gone for the night

The doors were locked nice and tight

And as she sat at the desk, quiet and alone

She wished that but one ring would come from the phone

The halls were all empty

The decorations were aplenty

As she gazed lovingly towards the OR

She dreamed of the future

Of all the patients she would one day suture

Alone in the cold, with nothing to see

She realized there was no place she would rather be
